Suitable for 4 stroke exhaust systems - 25mm thick 350mm x 180mm sheet size

This is a general size recommendation for one muffler.
Refreshining your muffler packing can produce upto a 2 horse power gain (7000 to 8000 RPM) over a worn out muffler. A blown muffler can also cause drastic loss of low end response. It's recommended that you change your muffler packing every 10-15 hours to maintain your mufflers peak performance.
The more densely you pack the muffler – the longer it will last, better heat insulation, better performance. But will be slightly heavier and will attenuate sound levels less (increase sound).
The less densely you pack the muffler – the shorter the life span, less heat insulation, less performance. But will be slightly lighter and will attenuate sound levels more (decrease sound).
MCS Muffler Packing is made of high quality woven fibre glass that has a high resistance to vibration, noise reducing & very rigid.
