AIROH AVIATOR ACE KYBON GLOSS BLUE RED M
The Airoh Aviator Ace marks the latest in affordable motocross helmets from Airoh. With a similar level of safety features to the famous Airoh Aviator 2.3 AMSS, the Ace makes use of Airoh’s ASN and AEFR systems wrapped inside a HPC (High Performance Composite) outer shell. The Ace also uses an adjustable peak and a strong ventilation system to make this a strong entry for serious off-road riders.
The Aviator Ace will also be competing with the Fox V3, Alpinestars Supertech S-M8, and the Shoei VFX-WR.
Material
- The Airoh Aviator Ace Helmet’s outer shell is composed of a high-performance composite to ensure the helmet is tough and lightweight for off road riding. The helmet comes in two outer shell sizes, which span sizes XS to XL, to give a better and more proportional fit. The more shell sizes a helmet is offered in, the better since it means the helmet outer shell will fit your head size better. The peak is adjustable thanks to 3 thumbscrews and it also can be extended.
Ventilation
- Off road riding is physically exacting work, so the Aviator Ace comes with plenty of vents to help generate airflow throughout the motorcycle helmet. The chin alone features 6 always open mesh covered vents that feed directly into the helmet. The top of the helmet is also covered in 4 very large mesh covered air inlets to help cool the crown. This hot air then comes out exhausts in the rear.
Visor
- Since the Airoh Aviator Ace is an MX helmet, it does not use a visor, since goggles are used instead. The aperture is wide and has been specially shaped with goggles in mind to make sure they sit comfortably on the face and in the helmet.
Liner
- The interior liner of the Arioh AviatorAce uses a mix of comfort and safety enhancing technologies to make it even more specialized for off road riding. The helmet’s liner is removable, washable, hypoallergenic, and perforated for maximum ventilation.
- The liner of the helmet also uses several safety features to improve its ease of use for offroad riding. First, the liner uses Airoh’s ASN (Airoh Sliding Net) System, which is a 3-D fabric structure that reduces the force transferred to the wearer’s head in an impact. The ASN system is designed in two layers that can move independently of each other, which reduces the danger of rotational impact forces while also increasing ventilation.
- Second, the helmet's interior uses A.E.F.R. (Airoh Emergency Fast Release), which allows the helmet to be quickly and safety removed in the event of an impact.
